This book is the product of a workshop called "Techniques for Photo Transfer" that I took at Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design, as part of their Summer Institute for Book Arts. We used three transfer methods: blender pen; heat transfer; and acrylic matte medium. We transferred photos to a variety of media: handmade and commercial papers of various thicknesses, fabric, wood, metal, plexiglass and (my innovation) cork (most natural fibres will work). The images transferred with the blender pen are from my uncle's photographs; the rest are my own digital photographs. Dimensions: 7-1/2 " x 8-1/2 " x 1" |
