| While in Victoria for a conference,
I stayed with my friend, Deb. On our designated play day, we headed to
Butchart Gardens - in spite of the brutal heat - where the roses were
in full bloom. Deb was enthralled with the delphinium, which is why there
are so many photos of them (she didn't have her camera). My favourite
section has always been the Japanese Garden. 2004 marks the 100th anniversary
